Video Series: Personalized Medicine Powered by Precision Imaging

This fall, UCSF Imaging’s world-renowned radiologists had the opportunity to participate in the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine’s Mini Medical School for the Public in a series titled “Personalized Medicine Powered by Precision Imaging.” Throughout the six-week series, the Bay Area community heard first-hand from radiologists who are using and developing new and innovative precision imaging tools to enhance diagnosis, improve disease monitoring, and optimize treatment for individual patients. In close partnership with subspecialty physicians from other UCSF departments, radiologists are now able to use these tools to pinpoint and better treat disorders such as prostate cancer, breast cancer and degenerative spine and joint disease at earlier stages.
