Distinguished Lecture Series
Now in its second decade, the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Distinguished Lecture series brings a number of eminent academic and scientific lecturers to UCSF each year. Our distinguished lectures are designed to highlight current radiologic imaging information, cutting-edge research, and to provide a diverse spectrum of perspectives and topics. The first five individual lectures in the series are named in honor of distinguished UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging faculty members whose work and careers contributed to the excellence of our Department. The sixth lecture brings an outstanding educator to UCSF so that our trainees will have the opportunity to learn from a distinguished professor. Our premier grand rounds series is offered four times per year and is designed to promote discussion on current topics and areas of interest pertinent to MD and PhD faculty and trainees.
