Program Overview

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging offers fellowship and training opportunities to those physicians who wish to expand their expertise inseveral of the following radiology subspecialties:

Rolling Application Fellowships

  • Interventional Neuroradiology - non-ACGME (3 positions)
  • Nuclear Medicine - ACGME (2 positions)
  • Pediatrics - ACGME (2 positions)
  • Abdominal Imaging (ML-VAMC-SFGH) - non-ACGME (4 positions)
  • Abdominal Imaging / Ultrasound - non-ACGME (10 positions)
  • Cardiac & Pulmonary Imaging - non-ACGME (2 positions)
  • CLOSED - Musculoskeletal Radiology - non-ACGME (filled 4 slots)

NRMP MATCH Fellowships

  • Neuroradiology - ACGME - (Applications will open in July 2017 for 2019-20 fellowship year - Completed applications due by November 30, 2017) (9 positions)
  • Vascular & Interventional Radiology - ACGME (Applications will open in July 2017 for 2019-20 fellowship year) (4 positions)
  • Breast Imaging - non-ACGME (Applications will open in July 2017 for 2019-20 fellowship year) (5 positions)

    Complete an online application for any of the above programs.

    Interviews will be offered after review of completed applications.

    Candidates will be notified directly from the sections regarding invitations to interview.

    NRMP MATCH Programs (Neuroradiology, Vascular Interventional, Breast Imaging) will follow the NRMP schedule of dates for 2019-20 Fellowships

    • December 7, 2017, January 4, 2018, January 25, 2017, and February 22, 2017 (Neuroradiology)
    • TBD December 2017 - March 2018 (Vascular & Interventional Radiology)
    • TBD January - February 2018 (Breast Imaging)
    Interviews Begin
