Course Outline and Faculty

Five half-day morning sessions Sunday thru Friday from 7:00 am to Noon, with a full-day off on Wednesday.
Course lecture topics will focus on Abdominal, Thoracic, Neuro and Musculoskeletal imaging; utilizing CT, MRI and US.

A credit card is required to confirm your reservation, and a one-night’s stay will be charged at the time of booking.  Cancellations made after 11/1/2021 will forfeit the one-night’s deposit. Air Travel 

Effective May 29, 2021, only fully-vaccinated travelers will be allowed entry into St. Kitts and Nevis. Non-vaccinated children under the age of 18 travelling with fully-vaccinated parents are welcome.

American, United, Delta and Jet Blue are partnered with regional Seabourne Airline, which offers connecting shuttle flights to Nevis from neighboring Caribbean islands such as San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) and St. Maarten (SXM).

Travel Requirements for Fully-vaccinated Travelers

The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is pleased to once again welcome visitors to its shores. Since reopening its borders on October 31, 2020, the destination continues to be one of the least impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, currently remains the safest destination in the Caribbean and is marked as a Level 1 destination by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  

  • A traveler is considered fully vaccinated when two weeks have passed since receiving their second dose of a two dose vaccine series (Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna or AstraZeneca/Oxford) or two weeks after they have received a single dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen). The traveller’s official COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card will be accepted as proof. Traveler must upload a copy of their official Vaccination Card (back and front scan) and submit for verification as part of their complete the Travel Authorization Form on the national website.
  • Upon submission of a completed KNA travel form and approval of their vaccination card, the traveler must upload their official COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test result taken 72 hours prior to travel. There are no exceptions to the 72-hour timeframe.
  • Upon receipt of the copy of the COVID -19 RT-PCR test negative result and their official vaccination card, the traveler’s information will be reviewed, and they will receive the approval letter to enter the Federation. For their trip, the traveler should bring a copy of the negative COVID- 19 RT-PCR test and their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card as proof of completion of their vaccination.
  • Travelers will undergo a health screening at the airport which includes a temperature check and a health questionnaire. Upon arrival, if a fully vaccinated traveler is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 during the health screening, they can be required to undergo a RT- PCR test at the airport at their own cost (150 USD).

We have endeavored to keep current with applicable St. Kitts and Nevis protocols, but each guest is responsible for complying with the requirements imposed for travel. Please refer directly to the local government website for the latest information.

For guests who would require a RT-PCR test to their next destination, Four Seasons Resort Nevis will be happy to assist in scheduling the required RT-PCR Test at a designated test room located on the ground floor of Cottage 6.
All guests are required to make payments online at https://nextgenmedlab.com/travel-covid19. Each RT-PCR Test cost is $150USD and payments must be made 48 hours prior to swabbing.

Once the online payment is successful, an electronic receipt is sent to the person who made the purchase via email.* The receipt must be presented on the day of swabbing as proof of payment.
Plaese note that the test is being coordinated by Four Seasons Resort Nevis, but is being facilitated by a third party which is authorized by the Ministry of Health. Four Seasons Resort Nevis has no control of the schedules and changes to the schedule, or generation of test results.

As you know, the COVID19 outbreak has caused significant travel disruptions to conferences both nationally and internationally. The health and safety of our meeting attendees, faculty, staff, and patients has been of the utmost importance to us.   • Passports  US and Canadian citizens are required to present a valid photo passport and a return airline ticket.  
  • Departure Tax  for St Kitts (SKB) airport is included in the airline ticket fees; upon leaving Nevis (NEV) airport is US$20.50, which includes an environmental levy and airport security tax.
  • Time Zone  Nevis is on Atlantic Standard Time year-round (does not change for daylight saving time), one hour ahead of Eastern Time.
  • Currency  is the East Caribbean (EC) dollar, which can be obtained at any bank. The exchange rate  US$1.00 = EC$2.70. Most stores and businesses accept US dollars or travellers’ cheques, but change will be given in EC. Banks and stores accept US paper bills, but will not accept US coins. 
  • Tipping  A service charge of 18% is generally included in restaurant bills, but you should check (you are welcome to tip more). Hotels often add both a service charge and 12% VAT to restaurant bills.
  • Voltage  standard throughout the island is 110 volts (rather than 220).
  • Drinking Water  is pure and safe to drink, but if you are sensitive to food and water changes, you may prefer commercially bottled water.
  • Car Rentals  can be arranged through the Four Seasons concierge desk, and require purchase of a $25 temporary Visitor’s Driver’s License. Cars drive on the left lane.
