UCSF Radiology's Heather Greenwood, MD, Named an Society of Breast Imaging Fellow
SBI Fellowship is one of the highest honors for members of the Society of Breast Imaging. SBI Fellows are considered a recognized leader in the field of breast imaging and must display sustained and verifiable success in at least three of the four categories:
- Breast-related scientific/academic accomplishment
- Medical education related to breast imaging/breast disease, breast wellness
- Administrative or political activities impacting breast health
- Service to patients or to the Society of Breast Imaging
"Dr. Greenwood is an expert in breast imaging and a strong advocate for breast cancer screening," says Bonnie Joe, MD, PhD, chief of breast imaging at UCSF Radiology. "We are proud of Dr. Greenwood for achieving this high honor of SBI Fellowship. Well done!"
In addition to the Society of Breast Imaging, Dr. Greenwood is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America and American College of Radiology.
