Two UCSF Radiology Faculty Selected for the ARRS Clinical Educator Development Program

We are excited to announce that Roxanna Juarez, MD, and Shravan Sridhar, MD, MS, have been selected to attend the Clinical Educator Development Program (CEDP) in April in Honolulu, HI, hosted by the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS). The UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging would like to recognize these two faculty members, chosen from a nationwide pool of applicants.

Dr. Amanda Baker, UCSF Clinical Fellow, Awarded ASPNR Travel Grant

We are excited to congratulate Amanda Baker, MD, for receiving the Charlotte and Thierry Huisman Travel Grant Award. Dr. Baker, a Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology Fellow at the UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, was presented with the award at the January 13-15 Annual American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR) Scientific Meeting in New Orleans.

Sharmila Majumdar, PhD, Named a Top Female Scientist in the U.S.

UCSF Radiology is pleased to announce that Sharmila Majumdar, PhD, a professor and vice chair of research at UCSF Radiology, has been named one of the 2022 top female scientists in the U.S. The ranking from Research.com is based on the proportion of the contributions made within each researcher's field, as well as the individual's awards and achievements.

UCSF Radiology's Duygu Tosun-Turgut, PhD, Wins Distinguished Investigator Award

UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is proud to announce that Duygu Tosun-Turgut, PhD, has been named a Distinguished Investigator by the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research. The award ceremony was held on November 29th during the Radiology Society of North America 2022 Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting.

UCSF Radiology's Heather Greenwood, MD, Named an SBI Fellow

UCSF Radiology is excited to congratulate Heather Greenwood, MD, on her recognition as a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging. Dr. Greenwood is an associate Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Breast Imaging section at UCSF Radiology. The honor was bestowed on Dr. Greenwood at the RSNA 2022 Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting.
