Nurses Week is celebrated here at UC San Francisco and globally from May 6 through May 12, 2021. Over the past year – and more! – UCSF Radiology nurses have been meeting the pandemic's challenges with flexibility, innovation and an extraordinary focus on patient safety. 

Jessica Hayward, MD and Amie Lee, MD, associate professors of clinical radiology in the Breast Imaging section are among the 2021 Class of Fellows of the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI).

The Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System (O-RADS) is a recent addition to the American College of Radiology (ACR) reporting and data systems and consists of both ultrasound (US) and MRI arms. Lori Strachowski, MD is one of the original members of the ACR O-RADS committee. Tara Morgan, MD has joined and Priyanka Jha, MBBS will join also. 

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month! Finding a cure might take time but through advanced neuroimaging research we can improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson's and their families.

Linda Chao, PhD and a team of investigators recently examined whether cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), delivered by telephone, improves both sleep and non-sleep symptoms of Gulf War Illness (GWI).
