Two UCSF Radiology faculty recently received funding from National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Cancer Institute (NCI) for an exciting research project to study hyperpolarized (HP) carbon-13 (13C) metabolic MRI in prostate cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy (RT).
