Hailey Choi, MD, Recognized as a 2022 SRU Fellow

Headshot of Hailey Choi, MD, who is wearing a pink shirt on a light-colored background.The UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is pleased to announce that Hailey Choi, MD, assistant professor of clinical radiology in the Abdominal Imaging and Ultrasound section, has been named a fellow of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU). Dr. Choi received this honor and recognition at the SRU Annual Meeting held in Phoenix, AZ from October 14 through 16, 2022.

SRU fellows are the recognized experts in ultrasound and becoming an SRU fellow is both an honor and recognition of a radiologist's interest and expertise in diagnostic ultrasound.

Dr. Choi specializes in using ultrasound and other imaging techniques to diagnose and treat liver diseases. Her research focuses on ultrasound and liver imaging. She serves on a national committee on ultrasound screening for liver cancer. She also trains UCSF medical students in imaging techniques.
