Sweet Gesture for Staff Appreciation
The UCSF Radiology Department celebrated its hardworking imaging teams with a delightful Staff Appreciation Day on Friday, May 24, 2024. The event, led by David Sostarich, Director, Radiology Operations, honored the heroes who play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care.
As the sun's golden rays peeked over the bustling hospital, the rich, chocolate, and nutty aroma of freshly baked cookies wafted through the third-floor radiology suites, drawing warm smiles from radiologic technologists, administrative staff, and nursing professionals alike. These delectable treats, lovingly crafted by the talented bakers of UCSF Catering, were a sweet token of appreciation for the imaging team's tireless efforts.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of medical imaging procedures, the staff took a moment to savor the delicious cookies, basking in the warm appreciation they so richly deserved. From the picturesque hills of Parnassus Heights to Berkeley Outpatient Center to Mount Zion and Mission Bay, the sweet confections brought smiles to every face.
Staff Appreciation Day included technologists along with administrative staff and nursing professionals also partaking in the sweet celebration. This inclusive approach fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie, underscoring the collaborative nature of healthcare and the importance of every team member's role in providing patient care and living out our PRIDE values.
Thank you to our wonderful RAD technologists, nurses, and administrators at UCSF Health. Every day, you make a profound difference in the lives of our patients.
