Stepping into RSNA’s 101st Conference

I’m trusting everyone had a warm and fulfilling Thanksgiving. I remain thankful to work in our remarkable and rapidly advancing field, and for UCSF’s particularly stellar community of staff, scientists, and physicians. And, as always, I hope you join me in offering a special thanks to those who continued to work through the holidays so we could care for our patients.

Sunday morning, the 101st annual RSNA meeting launches in Chicago. I’ve been very pleased to serve as president this year to this enduring and pioneering body. We at UCSF see the advances through research and clinical care in radiology every day-- my year working closely with RSNA expanded the view of radiology globally. This week in Chicago, the rest of the world will be able to see some of the remarkable imaging developments and discoveries of 2015, and the exciting projections of what our field plans going forward.
