RSNA 2024 Highlights

This year’s RSNA annual meeting drew more than 38,000 radiologists, imaging scientists, and industry colleagues to Chicago to discuss the latest in clinical care, research, and technology. UCSF radiology faculty and trainees delivered lectures, moderated panels, and led courses and scientific sessions.

Each year, we are proud to recognize department members who receive research funding from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). This year’s grant recipients include three medical students, two residents, one postdoctoral fellow, and three faculty members.

Six Highlights from UCSF Radiology at RSNA21!

The 2021 RSNA Annual Meeting was a hybrid event with attendees returning to Chicago after a year away due to COVID-19. Faculty, post-doctoral scholars, trainees and research staff were all involved in a full schedule of lectures, courses, scientific sessions, on-demand presentations, panels, education exhibits and more. At this year's Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting, Bhavya Rehani, MD was invited to give the Annual Oration in Diagnostic Radiology on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. This is an honored lecture presented by invitation of the RSNA president, with the approval of the board of directors.

Ronald L. Arenson, MD Awarded RSNA's Gold Medal

The Gold Medal is the highest honor given by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Congratulations to Ronald Arenson, MD, professor emeritus and longtime chair on receiving this honor at the annual meeting.
