The UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging has “planted” a Gratitude Tree at Parnassus to display the many messages of gratitude radiology that staff receive on a daily basis

The AVON Comprehensive Breast Center held a celebration Tuesday to honor and recognize 20 years of visionary care and the incredible staff members who provide the best experience and most current technology to patients, regardless of their ability to pay, their gender, or immigration status.

For more than 20 years, Jessica Pfannenstiel, MS, RT(R)(CT), has seen first-hand how technology advancements continually transform radiology and biomedical imaging. Now, as she steps into a new role – Interim Director of Imaging Quality & Technology – she will partner with radiology faculty to advance UCSF’s leadership in implementing innovative technology. 

At UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals in Mission Bay and Oakland, radiologists are now offering a new, more comfortable, and radiation-free imaging method called pediatric Contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography (ceVUS).
