UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging to be Key Contributor to IDEAS Study

The study was developed by the IDEAS study group, led by Gil Rabinovici, MD, associate professor in the UCSF Department of Neurology; Maria Carrillo, PhD, chief science officer of the Alzheimer's Association, and other partners. The IDEAS Study is led by the Alzheimer's Association and the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN) and managed by the American College of Radiology (ACR.)
The UCSF Memory & Aging Center is an internationally recognized leader in the clinical and research assessment of a broad scope of dementing illnesses, including Alzheimer’s disease. Physicians interested in referring their eligible patients for a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary neurocognitive assessment to the IDEAS study should contact the UCSF Memory and Aging Center at (415) 353-2057.
