UCSF Thoracic Imaging - Virtual Live
Course Format
This course will be offered as a live interactive virtual conference. Login instructions will be shared with attendees before the meeting, along with digital syllabus. Included in your registration fee is access to the course recordings on demand for 30 days following (you must attend/ log-in to the daily live broadcast sessions for post-course access).
Registration: $400 = Physician (MD, DO); $250 = Affiliated Health Professional (PA, RN).

Course Objectives
1. Confidently interpret high-resolution CT scans of the lungs and provide focused differential diagnosis;
2. Describe a practical approach to the imaging of lung infections;
3. Identify typical manifestations of acute and chronic aortic diseases;
4. Describe the role of cross-sectional imaging in the evaluation of pulmonary embolism;
5. Differentiate benign vs. malignant lung nodule/masses on CT and PET;
6. Incorporate the role of CT and PET in the evaluation and staging of lung cancer.
