Welcoming Masis Isikbay, MD, to UCSF's Emergency Radiology Division

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging welcomes Masis Isikbay, MD, to the Emergency Radiology/Acute Care division as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Isikbay earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He then joined UCSF's general surgery team as an intern, a diagnostic radiology resident, during which he served as Chief Resident, and a neuroradiology fellow.

Dr. Isikbay is very familiar with academic radiology. He has previously mentored pre-medical and medical students, led symposiums on hands-on radiology training and has lectured regionally and internationally on educational topics. His dedication to clinical work and education earned Dr. Isikbay the 2023 Elmer Ng Outstanding Resident in Diagnostic Radiology award.

We eagerly anticipate his input to emergency radiology and acute care education. Welcome to the team, Dr. Isikbay!
