Harold I. Litt, MD, PhD
DR. HAROLD LITT is the PI for the 2012 'Multi-Center Study on Coronary CTA for Early Emergency Room Discharge', whose safety outcome results were recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Litt received his MD and PhD degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1996. In 1997, he completed his internship in Medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital-Harvard Medical School. He served his residency in Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Litt completed his postgraduate training in June 2002, as a Fellow in Cardiothoracic Radiology at UCSF. He is currently an Associate Professor of Radiology, the Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging, and Director of the Center for Advanced CT at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Litt’s research interests focus on cardiac and thoracic imaging, especially non-invasive imaging of the heart and coronary arteries.
