"Hierarchical Clustering of Resting State Networks"
Speaker:
Short Bio and Research Interests:
Since completing residency and fellowship Dr. Joshua Shimony has worked as a Diagnostic Neuroradiologist at Washington University/Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. More recently he has been serving as the Head of Neuroradiology at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. His research has focused on translational applications and development of advanced MR imaging methods. The focus of his lab has been in the area of diffusion tensor MRI (DTI), perfusion MRI (pMRI), and resting state functional MRI (rsfMRI). Most recently his efforts have been focused on using rsfMRI for localization of eloquent cortex for pre-surgical planning in patients with brain tumors and epilepsy.
