THE UCSF VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM on Radiation Safety and Computed Tomography is designed as an educational resource for all who are interested in learning more about safety in medical imaging.
The Virtual Symposium on Radiation Safety and Computed Tomography will go live on May 8-10, 2013, and will provide a wealth of information to all who have followed the topic of radiation safety in CT. The curriculum will be offered to physicians, technologists, medical physicists, nurses, medical students, researchers, radiology administrators, and individuals who want to understand the many issues regarding CT radiation dose and to gain strategies to improve the safety and utilization of CT. The courses will be offered to a broad national and international audience, and will be available online for viewing for up to two years.
