Your INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN is a great way to ensure you are moving forward, on the right track, and allows your mentors to help guide you along the way. An IDP is required for all researchers applying for NIH grants, and the one we use was modified by one created by UCSF’s Bill Lindstaedt, PhD, and which is actually on the Science magazine website.

Attached is the copy of the MyIDP plan; these are also downloadable on the Academic Affairs site.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Selena Yan ([email protected]). Looking forward to seeing you!
