Modern Antisemitism in America
Tyler (Tye) Gregory serves as the CEO of JCRC Bay Area (Jewish Community Relations Council), the largest collective voice of Bay Area Jews, pursuing a just world where Jewish identity is embraced and all people can thrive.
Since Tye’s arrival at the beginning of a pandemic that has seen a marked rise in hate against minorities, JCRC has mobilized Jewish communities and our neighbors to combat antisemitism and anti-Asian and anti-Black racism. Under his leadership, JCRC has also become a leading Jewish organization ensuring fair and inclusive ethnic studies curricula in California public schools.
Previously, Tye served as executive director of A Wider Bridge, the LGBTQ organization advancing equality in Israel through international support and cooperation. During his six years with A Wider Bridge, the organization grew from a Bay Area startup to a leading national LGBTQ Jewish organization. Tye also spent several years working in the political department of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee).
