#UCSFRadChat Using Twitter to Chat About Hereditary Cancer
UCSF Radiology Department

UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging (@UCSFimaging) will be hosting a twitter chat on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 12 – 12:45 PM PST (3 – 3:45 PM EST). We will be joined by the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and its Center for BRCA Research to answer a series of questions related to BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 gene mutations, imaging testing, new research and resources available for physicians and patients. Twitter is a great way to hold a conversation that is open to anyone. While our audiences are often radiologists, we encourage all audiences to login to this important gathering of experts. You do not need your own Twitter account to listen and learn. Simply go to www.Twitter.com and search  “#UCSFRadChat” or “@UCSFImaging” on Friday, April 26 from 12-12:45. Panelists include: Heather Greenwood, MD, Assistant Professor, Breast Imaging, UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging; Laura Holmes Haddad, Writer and Speaker, Author of "This is Cancer: Everything You Need to Know, from the Waiting Room to the Bedroom"; Julie Mak, MS, CGC, Genetic Counselor and Supervisor, Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program, The UCSF Center for BRCA Research - Hereditary Cancer Clinic and Kelly Williams, NP, Nurse Practitioner at the UCSF Center for BRCA Research - Hereditary Cancer Clinic.
