UCSF Schwartz Rounds® Schwartz Rounds facilitate a discussion with a multidisciplinary panel of care team members to reflect on a selected case or theme. Objectives: 1. Utilize a forum where caregivers from diverse disciplines discuss emotional and social issues that arise in caring for patients to enhance caregiver’s insights into their own responses and feelings while caring for patients 2. Improve teamwork and communication by exploring physician’s and staff ’s emotional responses to providing care in challenging cases Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP 12980 for 1 contact hour Accreditation: The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for continuing Medical Education to provide continuing education for physicians. Designation: UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The maximum credit above reflects all Schwartz Grand Rounds sessions for Fiscal year 2019.
