Growing Wellbeing: Embracing Equity in our Work (Eco)Systems

Dr. Lea Azour is a cardiothoracic radiologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She is the Director of Wellness for the NYU Langone Health Department of Radiology, home to a team of over 250 faculty across the hybrid academic, community, and remote enterprise. She has also served as the Associate Section Head of Thoracic Imaging at NYU since 2019.

Dr. Azour is the Chair of the Society of Thoracic Radiology Health & Wellness Committee, and Course Co-Director for the American Roentgen Ray Society’s upcoming 2023 Radiology Wellness Summit. Dr. Azour’s academic interests include non-vascular thoracic MRI, with recent works in low-field lung MRI, and the study of subsolid pulmonary nodules.

Prior to NYU, Dr. Azour completed her residency and fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, medical school at New York Medical College, and her undergraduate studies at Yale University
