"Technical Challenges for TOF PET-MRI"

Dr. Youngho Seo
is an Associate Professor in Residence and Director of Nuclear Imaging Physics in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, Associate Professor in Residence in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, and Physicist Faculty Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He received his bachelor's degree in Physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He completed two master's degrees in Physics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Seo completed his PhD in Physics from UCLA under the supervision of Professor David Cline, followed by postdoctoral training at the same institution. He joined the UCSF Physics Research Laboratory in 2003, and was trained under the supervision of Professor Bruce Hasegawa before joining the faculty in 2006.

“Simultaneous TOF PET-MRI: Initial Experience”

Dr. Zaharchuk is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Stanford University with a clinical focus in the area of Neuroradiology. He received his PhD (1999) from Harvard University/MIT and his Medical Degree (2000) from Harvard University Medical School. He completed a four-year Diagnostic Radiology residency in 2005 at UCSF, followed by a UCSF Neuroradiology fellowship in 2006. He is the recipient of the Executive Council Award from the American Roentgen Ray Society (2006) and a Scholar Award, from the Neuroradiology Education and Research Foundation (2009). He is a Member of Stanford’s Bio-X as well as the Stanford Neurosciences Institute.
