Amar B. Shah, MD
Associate Professor of Radiology
Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health

Dr. Shah is an Associate Professor of Radiology at  the Hofstra/Zucker School of Medicine at Northwell Health, a health system that is currently at the center of the COVID-19 epidemic in New York. Amar’s activities center on clinical education, integration of advanced cardiac imaging into clinical delivery and most recently as director of the 3DImageLab at Northwell, helping to integrate advanced imaging techniques, including 3D printing, into clinical delivery.  He is a past lecturer in cardiac imaging at the Society of Thoracic Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging, and American Heart Association. His academic interests include clinical efficiency and how to translate innovations into clinical practice systems.
