Dr. Yan Li joined UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging as an Assistant Professor in March 2019. Dr. Li received her medical degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, Master of Science in Biochemistry from McGill University in Canada, and PhD from the UCSF/UC Berkeley Joint Graduate Program in Bioengineering. Before accepting current position, she worked in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah Nelson as a post-doctoral fellow and later as an assistant research scientist. See more.

Javier Villanueva-Meyer, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Neuroradiology subspecialty section in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and he completed his one-year internship at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke. Dr. Villanueva-Meyer completed his four-year diagnostic radiology residency at the UCSF, followed by a Neuroradiology fellowship at UCSF. He also completed a NIH T32 post-doctoral fellowship in the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. See More.

Dr. Braunstein is a radiation oncologist with a clinical interest in the treatment of pediatric, central nervous system, and soft tissue malignancies. He has expertise in modern radiation therapy techniques including stereotactic radiotherapy (Gamma Knife, Cyberknife, Linac-based SBRT), intraoperative radiotherapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy.
