Breast Imaging & Optional Mini-Course
Course Outline and Faculty
Breast Imaging includes lecture sessions, faculty and audience panel discussions and small group workshops. The course is five half-day morning sessions, Sunday through Friday, with a full-day off on Wednesday. Lecture topics include Breast MRI, BI-RADS updates and Tomosynthesis. Lecture sessions will conclude with Self-Assessment questions and discussion. Faculty lead concurrent small group workshops on Thursday.
There is an optional four-hour mini-course on "Current Controversies and Policies" on Tuesday afternoon (separate fee and registration). Topics are: Breast Density Reporting, Overdiagnosis, Breast Cancer Screening, and Controversies in Breast MRI.
