UCSF Radiologists Named Distinguished Investigators of the Academy of Radiology Research!

The UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is proud to announce and congratulate the multiple Department members who have been selected as Distinguished Investigators by the Academy of Radiology Research. The honor recognizes imaging researchers for their significant contributions to scientific progress and medical innovation.

The 2013 Academy of Radiology Research Distinguished Investigator Award acknowledges and celebrates high levels of achievement in academic imaging research. In order to be eligible for the Award, a recipient must be at least an Associate Professor in an academic Department of Radiology with significant research contributions, show sustained productivity including at least 25 peer reviewed scientific research publications in which he or she is a first or senior author, and demonstrate accomplishment as an independent investigator with a substantial ongoing research program. Recipients of the award become members of the Council of Distinguished Investigators of the Academy.
