Register Now for our Inaugural PSMA PET Conference in January 2024!
We are excited to announce the first annual PSMA Conference, “PSMA PET and RLT: Present and Future.” The conference will take place online and in-person in San Francisco on January 18-19, 2024. Registration for in-person and virtual attendance is now open. In-person attendees who register by October 1 will save $100 on the enrollment fee!
This conference is co-sponsored by the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with support from the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Speakers, who are both clinicians and researchers, will focus on the current and future use of PSMA PET imaging and radioligand therapy, complete with presentations, panel discussions and exhibits from speakers and stakeholders.
PSMA PET imaging and radioligand therapy is becoming more available outside of large academic centers. The conference was developed to help educate the community on imaging interpretation and patient management on treatment. As early adopters of PSMA PET imaging and radioligand therapy, UCSF and UCLA clinicians and researchers will share their experiences and insights on future directions. Additionally, our long-standing collaborations will bring cutting edge presentations and discussions from both domestic and international experts in the field.
The conference goals are to:
- Explain how to interpret PSMA PET scans
- Discuss the selection of patients for PSMA radioligand therapy
- Discuss patient management and potential toxicities for PSMA radioligand therapy
The conference organizers are Thomas Hope, MD, of the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, and Jeremie Calais, MD, and Johannes Czernin, MD, both of the UCLA Department of Nuclear Medicine. Guest speakers include Michael Morris, MD, of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; Oliver Sartor, MD, of the Tulane Cancer Center; and Wolfgang Fendler, MD, of the University of Duisburg-Essen.
