It is with a very heavy heart that I write to share the sad news that Rahul Desikan, MD, PhD passed away after a 2 ½ year, hard-fought battle with a rapidly-progressive form of ALS.
Sarah J. Nelson, PhD, luminary imaging scientist, friend, and long-time faculty member in the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, passed away after a valiant struggle with cancer.
It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of our former Chairman and friend, Dr. Alexander Margulis. Alex, as he preferred to be called, was a global visionary leader of radiology, beloved by physicians at UCSF and throughout the world. He will certainly be missed.
