Masters of Science in Biomedical Imaging Program (MSBI)

The application deadline for the first wave of applicants to the Master's of Science in Biomedical Imaging (MSBI) program at UCSF has closed. A second wave of applicants will be considered beginning on April 1, 2017, when the application portal will re-open. Applicants will be considered on a first come first basis at this time until the class is full.  Thank you for interest in the MSBI program.

Program Overview

The Masters of Science in Biomedical Imaging (MSBI) program is intended for students with Bachelors degrees, advanced pre-doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, researchers and faculty members who wish to master biomedical imaging and research methods to enhance their research designs and broaden their investigative projects. The program emphasizes the fundamental principles of medical image formation and explores how imaging is used in a wide range of clinical applications.  The MSBI program can be completed in one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study.
