Program Overview

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging offers fellowship and training opportunities to those physicians who wish to expand their expertise inseveral of the following radiology subspecialties:

Rolling Application Fellowships

  • Interventional Neuroradiology - non-ACGME (3 positions)
  • Nuclear Medicine - ACGME (2 positions)
  • Pediatrics - ACGME (2 positions)
  • Abdominal Imaging (ML-VAMC-SFGH) - non-ACGME (4 positions)
  • Abdominal Imaging / Ultrasound - non-ACGME (10 positions)
  • Cardiac & Pulmonary Imaging - non-ACGME (2 positions)
  • Musculoskeletal Radiology - non-ACGME (4 positions)

NRMP MATCH Fellowships

  • Neuroradiology - ACGME - (Applications will open in July 2017 for 2019-20 fellowship year) (9 positions)
  • Vascular Interventional - ACGME (Applications will open in July 2017 for 2019-20 fellowship year) (4 positions)
  • Breast Imaging - non-ACGME (Applications will open in July 2017 for 2019-20 fellowship year) (5 positions)

    Complete an online application for any of the above programs.

    Interviews will be offered after review of completed applications.

    Candidates will be notified directly from the sections regarding invitations to interview.

    NRMP MATCH Programs (Neuroradiology, Vascular Interventional, Breast Imaging) will follow the NRMP schedule of dates for 2018-19 Fellowships

    • January 12, 2017, January 19, 2017, February 2, 2017, and February 9, 2017 (Neuroradiology)
    • December 1, 2016 - March 31, 2017 (Interventional Radiology)
    • February 2017 (Breast Imaging)
    Interviews Begin
    March 22, 2017 Match Opens - Registration begins for programs and applicants
    April 26, 2017 Rank order list submission begins for programs and applicants.
    May 17, 2017 Quota Change Deadline
    May 31, 2017 Deadline for registration and Rank order list
    June 14, 2017 Match day
