Support Team UCSF Radiology at the SF Aids Walk 2015!

UCSF has a long history of participating in SF AIDS WALK. The Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is proud to have a dedicated team once again in 2015, after an incredible participation effort by Department members last year. We ask all to consider joining the Department’s Team (#1007) to help reach the fundraising goal this year. All are invited to join and support Team UCSF Radiology at the San Francisco AIDS Walk on July 19th.

You may join the Team or make a donation at our Team Page!

We are working hard to raise funds to benefit HIV/AIDS programs and services throughout the Bay Area. For those who join Team Radiology, there is no minimum amount to raise, and it’s free to register.

Each walker who raises a minimum of $25 will get a free UCSF T-shirt, breakfast and lunch the day of the walk. 42 different organizations benefit from SF AIDS Walk fundraising, including AIDS/HIV Services at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and UCSF HIV/AIDS Division at SFGH.

AIDS Walk SF is a 10 kilometer walk through Golden Gate Park. The event takes place Sunday, July 19th and will bring 25,000 people together with a goal of raising over $2 million. Last year the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging came in fourth place out of all UCSF teams and raised nearly $7000 in fundraising. We are hoping for another strong effort in 2015.

Thank you for your support!
