Dr. Andrea Doria currently serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Practice Improvement of the Department of Medical Imaging of the University of Toronto. She is Professor of Radiology, Scientist, Research Director, and Imaging Lead of Personalized Child Health of The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. She currently serves on the Association of MIT Alumnae (AMITA) Board as Co-Chair of Communications.
Dr. Doria received her medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Parana, Brazil, and did her training in Brazil (PhD), Canada (MSc) and the U.S. (MIT EMBA19). Her moto is “live, love, learn and leave a legacy”. Her professional focuses of interest are the implementation of innovative operational analytic methods including artificial intelligence, processes and strategies that can improve clinical practice, development of evidence-based best practice guidelines that can lead to excellence of patient care, and translation of science and technologies into practices that can transform healthcare delivery.
