UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is pleased to offer the Visiting Observership Program, which allows international or local physicians to observe. This program is designed for observational purposes only, and observers will not be permitted to offer any form of patient care or advice during their visit. Application Requirements
- Application lead time: 3-4 months
- Visa sponsorship: None; visitors will obtain B1 on their own
- Duration: International 2 weeks-3 months; Domestic 2 weeks-6 months
- Terminal degree
- Observership Application
- Immunization Record: (TB/Chest X-ray/QuantiFERON, Rubella, Measles, Mumps, Varicella, Hep B, TDAP, Flu, Covid Vaccine/Booster record)
- Copy of resume/CV
- Scholars will be responsible for all visa fees.
- UCSF badge fees of $42(generally the first ID is free, but be prepared to pay $42)
- Only selected applicants will receive the application form. All selected applications must be approved by the division, department, and human resources.
