Roman Birko, BS

Roman Birko’s background is in economics and business administration, and he has over 15 years of finance and office management experience. Most recently, Roman held the positon of Finance Manager at EaglePicher, a Silicon Valley battery management systems startup company.  In his new role as the Informatics Coordinator, Roman will provide administrative and analytical support to Dr. Marc Kohli and Laboratory of Radiological Informatics (LRI) Unit.  He will also partner closely with our Business Office administrators to manage the LRI unit’s financial transactions and capital purchasing.   

Originally from Ukraine, Roman has called San Francisco home since 2005. In his leisure time, Roman enjoys watching movies, traveling, hiking, playing the piano, and attending to his plants.
