Breast Cancer RIG

The Breast Cancer Research Interest Group (RIG) focuses on new methods to better understand breast disease and to develop new, non-invasive imaging approaches to characterize disease severity, measure response to breast cancer treatments, and facilitate the development of new drugs for breast cancer.

The Breast Cancer RIG’s research will translate to healthier futures through:

  • More effective screening and earlier detection for all women
  • Advanced Breast MRI techniques for patients at high risk of breast cancer
  • Tailored, non-invasive imaging strategies to guide treatment of patients with breast cancer
