Register Now for October’s Neuro CME Course in San Francisco!

The UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is excited to announce "Advances in Neuroimaging: Essentials to Cutting-Edge", a CME course open to all medical professionals, to be held October 27- 31 in San Francisco! We have arranged an exciting line-up of speakers to address neuroradiology essentials, as well as advanced neuroradiology topics.

Advances in Neuroimaging will update participants on both fundamental and cutting-edge diagnostic imaging techniques for brain, neck, spine and peripheral nerve diseases of both adult and pediatric patients. The latest advances in CT/MRI protocols, post-processing, advanced spine interventions and advanced MR imaging techniques will be covered with an aim to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient throughput. Lectures will focus on the way these techniques help solve specific clinical questions. The course will include comprehensive overviews of fetal and pediatric neuroimaging, and will also emphasize radiation safety and dose reduction in diagnostic CT imaging.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Patricia Hudgins from Emory University, Dr. Max Wintermark of Stanford University and Dr. Whitney Pope from UCLA to the course as guest speakers, along with 17 UCSF faculty members from the departments of Neuroradiology, Neurological Surgery and Radiation Oncology.

Advances in Neuroimaging is an opportunity for medical professionals to complete 8 Self-Assessment credits (SAM) and enrollment is now open!  We encourage early registration at www.cme.ucsf.edu, or on-site enrollment on Monday, October 27 at 7:30 am!
