Our breast imaging research group consistes of three separate laboratories. 2 of these are PhD driven and reveive a large amount of grant funding.

NOLA HYLTON's magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) group

JOHN SHEPHERD's Breast and Bone Density group, partially based at China Basin Landing is looking into new ways of assessing breast composition and density as a way of developing a new risk index for the development of breast cancer

CHRIS FLOWERS has a small space at 1701 Divisadero for research with breast imaging workstations, including n MRI Unix workstation and a GE IDI workstation for digital mammography
