Dr. Galvin is Clinical Professor of Radiology at UCSF.

A native of Northern Ireland, she received her medical and radiology training at University College Dublin and Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, respectively. She has been a member of the UCSF faculty since 1980.

Dr. Galvin worked closely with Dr. Edward Sickles for 15 years including being involved in both the Mammography Fellowship training program and UCSF Postgraduate Mammography Courses
