Bonnie N. Joe, M.D., Ph.D. is Chief of Women’s Imaging in the Department of Radiology at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Joe completed a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She did residency training in diagnostic radiology and fellowship training in body MRI at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Joe worked full-time in the Abdominal Imaging Section at UCSF prior to taking on responsibility for the women’s imaging program.
Current interests include fetal body magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, breast MR spectroscopy and perfusion, and pelvic MRI
