New Ways to See the Colon

  • View of larger areas of the colon which means shorter interpretation times
  • Intuitive, easier to learn that would decrease reader fatigue
  • Improve sensitivity and specificity
  • Ability to incorporate: Tagging and subtraction:  Tagging: a substance that helps distinguish between stool in the colon and abnormalities during CTC; CAD (computer aided detection) for polyps is available for the standard views but has not been implemented for many of the novel displaying.
  • Virtual Holography True 3D Imaging:  Use of true depth perception and motion parallax (stereoscopic vision); Adds intuitive hand directed control (prehension); Wear glasses for stereoscopic vision add in intuitive hand directed control so you can manually control what you’re seeing. This can be used for the colon and it’s available for other organs as well. Lift the structure out the formal flat plain into true 3D space.
