Positions available for 2008-2009: Cross Sectional Imaging Practicum (SFGH), Cross Sectional Imaging (VAMC)

WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2009-2010 FELLOWSHIPS FOR THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: Vascular Interventional, Cross Sectional Imaging (VAMC), Pediatric Radiology, and Cross Sectional Imaging Practicum (SFGH).

Application Dates/Deadlines for 2010-2011 will be posted in September 2008.

Program Overview

The Department of Radiology offers fellowship and training opportunities to those physicians who wish to expand their expertise in several of the radiology subspecialties: abdominal imaging, breast imaging, breast imaging and ultrasound, cross sectional imaging (CT, Ultrasound, MRI), diagnostic neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, pediatric, thoracic imaging, ultrasound, vascular interventional, women's imaging (ultrasound, mammography), interventional neuroradiology and a practicum in cross sectional radiology. These programs are not participating in a national match program. The following clinical fellowships are included in the match program: neuroradiology and vascular interventional.

ACGME Programs (Neuroradiology and Vascular Interventional) will follow the NRMP schedule of dates:

March 2009 Registration begins for programs and applicants.
March 2009 Interviews Begin
May 2009 Rank order list submission begins for programs and applicants.
May 2009 Interviews End
June 2009 Rank order list deadline
June 2009 Match day

The above NRMP dates are approximate for the July 2010 appointment period and wil be updated once NRMP has posted the dates.
