Opportunities

Our group welcomes undergraduates, local and visiting graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and other researchers. We will post calls for specific projects on this page when they are available.

Prospective postdocs

We are currently seeking to fill two postdoctoral positions in image analysis.

Prospective UCB/UCSF graduate students

Students should apply for graduate study with our group through the UC Berkeley & UCSF Graduate Program in Bioengineering.

Current UCSF/UCB graduate students

Students who would like to complete a rotation in the laboratory should e-mail Dr Studholme directly.

Undergraduates
Undergraduates are strongly encouraged to seek external support through the Berkeley Summer Bioengineering Research Program or another of the many undergraduate research programs at UC Berkeley.

UCSF Radiology/Neurology residents

We welcome MDs studying in UCSF programs who are interested in doing project work with our group. Projects involve the application of new computational techniques to study brain anatomy and relate anatomical correlates with clinical outcomes. They provide the opportunity to learn techniques and ideas in computational anatomy and image analysis, particularly applied to the brain. Our emphasis is toward longer projects that can result in publications in the form of abstracts and journal papers. Please email Dr Studholme if you are interested!
